Is the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze a powerful car?
The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze is a well-executed blend of fuel-efficiency, design, refinement and performance wrapped in an affordable, compact sedan package. I have never had a problem with it other than replacing the battery, but that happens with most cars at some point. I have had the car since 2012 and have had to replace the battery twice that I am aware of.
The 2011 Chevy Cruze has similar exterior dimensions to other compact cars, but it feels smaller inside. Legroom is average in the front seats, but the rear seats do not fit adults comfortably. Ft. of room in the trunk, enough for four suitcases. Based on ownership data and the high number of complaints with the 2011 Cruze, we estimate it will only last 100,000 to 150,000 miles with proper care. The seats are very comfortable, with ample thigh and lower-back support, and there’s plenty of head and legroom in the Cruze as well. All of the gauges and center stack controls are intuitive and easy to reach, and the optional RS package brings an upgraded gauge cluster with chrome surrounds and cool blue back-light to the dash. Another rival to the Cruze is the Toyota Corolla, which is one of the most reliable compact cars on the market. The Chevy has better technology, and more luxurious interior materials than the Toyota. Where Toyota wins is overall build quality and cost of ownership.
Stand-alone options include a power moonroof, a GPS navigation system and a Pioneer premium audio system. The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze is just the kind of vehicle that GM – a company in the midst of a turnaround – needs to have on the market to prove that they’re making major strides forward. Whether the Cruze can continue to stand out with an all-new Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Ford Focus on the horizon remains to be seen, but this Chevy compact is certainly a step in the right direction.
Very reliable, haven't had too many problems with it. However engine light always comes on but it's nothing major. Never do I ever have to worry about my car not getting me anywhere.
